OUR VISION

Paralegal / Head – Landlord-Tenant Matters
Rama Gavisetty serves as Paralegal and Head of the Landlord-Tenant Matters division, where she brings exceptional expertise and leadership in representing landlords across a wide spectrum of residential tenancy issues. With a comprehensive command of the Residential Tenancies Act, Ontario Regulation 516/06, and relevant tribunal procedures, Rama has established herself as a trusted advisor and advocate for landlord clients, ranging from private property owners to large-scale property management firms and institutional landlords.
Rama’s practice is sharply focused on advancing landlord rights and mitigating risk exposure in all stages of the landlord-tenant relationship. She routinely handles complex eviction applications, rent arrears recovery, non-payment proceedings, unauthorized occupant issues, substantial interference and damage claims, breach of obligations, and N-series and L-series applications before the Landlord and Tenant Board. Rama is highly skilled in drafting precise termination notices, preparing evidence for hearing, conducting witness preparation, and delivering persuasive oral submissions before adjudicators.
Beyond advocacy, Rama offers proactive legal advisory services, assisting landlords in the development and review of residential lease agreements, policies, and best practices to ensure statutory compliance and operational efficiency. She works closely with property managers, superintendents, and landlord stakeholders to provide education on evolving legal requirements, notice delivery standards, and strategies for early issue resolution to avoid escalation.
As the department head, Rama leads and mentors a dedicated team of paralegals and legal assistants, overseeing case strategies, procedural management, and client service delivery. Under her leadership, the landlord-tenant team has developed a reputation for professionalism, thorough preparation, and a results-oriented approach that prioritizes cost-effective, enforceable outcomes for landlord clients.
Rama’s work is distinguished by her deep understanding of the nuances of landlord-tenant litigation, her ability to navigate procedural challenges, and her commitment to providing clear, actionable advice that aligns with each client’s business objectives. Her unwavering focus on landlord representation makes her a central figure within the firm for residential tenancy matters.
